Itinerary

Note: Due to weather conditions, time, physical fitness, discomfort, or other reasons, modifications to the enduro routes may be made.

Day 1; Ausangate and the 7 Lagoons circuit e-bike

On the first day, we’ll embark on a 2.5-hour private transport journey to the charming little village of Pacchanta, where we’ll be staying for 2 nights. Here, you’ll also find the medicinal thermal baths, perfect for relaxing your muscles after our e-bike tour.

After breakfast, we’ll kick off our ascent on electric bikes along the hiker’s trail, climbing to an altitude of 4,855 meters. Along the way, we’ll pass by herds of alpacas and llamas, local homes, and puddles of water, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the colorful lagoons and the snow-capped Ausangate mountain.

Day 2; Singrenacocha Lagoon

Now that we’re well acclimated to the climate, we’ll continue our electric bike tour to the most crystal-clear lagoon in the Andes, Singrenacocha Lake, located about 20 km from the village of Pajchanta. With the help of our electric bikes, we’ll ascend to an altitude of 4,900 meters.

From the top of the mountain, we’ll enjoy the best panoramic view of the turquoise lagoon. We’ll pedal alongside the lagoon, and the path will transform into grass and rock gardens—nothing too difficult with an e-bike and full suspension!

Day 3; Rainbow Mountain – Red Valley – Cusco

Our latest electric bike adventure around Mount Ausangate will take us to the stunning Red Lagoon. We’ll cross the Qampa Pass, which sits at an impressive 5,000 meters above sea level. After that, we’ll enjoy a thrilling downhill ride along a fun winding path until we reach the Chilca detour.

After passing Chilca, our route will continue with sections of uphill climbs, offering breathtaking views of more lagoons, snow-capped peaks, and colorful mountains perfect for some free riding. We may even spot thousands of Andean camelids like llamas and alpacas, and if we’re lucky, we might encounter some wild vicuñas that roam in small groups.

After this dreamlike adventure, we’ll arrive at the Rainbow Mountain. By the time we get there, there won’t be too many tourists around, so we can take some great photos and videos. Then, we’ll descend to the Vinicunca parking area and head back to Cusco.

Red Valley

This is one of the optional routes we can take on this day. We’ll check the batteries of the electric bikes, see what the weather is like, calculate the timing of the route, and if we still have energy left, we can continue enjoying the Andes on our e-bikes.
