This cross country expedition in Abancay is one of the mountain biking adventures that you cannot miss because this route has a unique attraction with more than 30 endless zigzagging curves and full descents through wide paths.

The first day on the bike would begin at 4,200 meters. From the Limpy Pass, where the stone forest is found, we will also cross through various communities in the area, such as Pantipata, Chuichis, Su Maro, Chinchaypujio district, and Cotabambas, where we will spend one night.

The attractions that we will discover on this bike tour from Cusco are the stone forest, beautiful landscapes, a viewpoint to the great canyon of Apurmac, the huachana condor, the flight of the condor, fossil footprints in stones, and the Inca ruins of Qollmay that are located in the Sumaro community.

Second day by bike: We will visit the colonial temple of San Agustín de Cotabambas and a sculpture that symbolizes the most popular festival of July 28 of each year, known as “Yawar Fest.” To conclude our bicycle adventure, we will have a 25-kilometer full descent through wide roads until we reach the Huallpachaka bridge, where we will board our vehicle and return to Cusco.

We can also do this one day bike tour, just let us know before booking.
