For every day of this mountain biking expedition in the Andes, we include round-trip transfers, meals, MTB guides trained in first aid and mechanics, trail entry tickets, water, fruits, MTB equipment, and high-end full suspension bikes.

Day 1: Cusco – Waqrapukara Fortress Bike tour

One of the most incredible Inca constructions in the Andes, built on a high mountain like Machu Picchu, with terraces and stone-based rooms with windows.

The trail has flowing sections, steps, curves, and some short climbs.

The landscape is amazing, surrounded by rocky mountains like cliffs and a spectacular view of the Apurímac canyon from 4,551m.

Day 2: Palcoyo – Ananiso Canyon Bike tour

Palcoyo is one of the colorful mountains in the Andes, a less crowded place full of nature, colors, culture, and picturesque towns like Checacupec (three bridges), Uchullucllo, and Pitumarca.

The trail is a mix of trail and gravel with flowing sections, short paths, steps, and rock gardens, with exciting climbs and descents.

While enjoying the biking, the outdoors, and nature, we’ll stop at the colorful Palcoyo mountain, the Ananiso canyon, the Inca ruins of Machu Pitumarca, and finish in the rustic town of Pitumarca.

Day 3: Rainbow Mountain – Red Valley – Ausangate Bike tour

After Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain is one of the most visited sites. Instead of the traditional way, we’ll enjoy this place on an epic MTB adventure.

The path that connects to the mountain of 7 colors is wide, easy to handle the bicycle, also the path that leads to the red valley, only a small part of technical path that lasts between 6 minutes, which you can walk, the rest of the route is all easy for all cyclists.

The most relaxing part of this tour is ending the day with a night at the Ausangate Pacchanta hot springs to relax your muscles!

Day 4: Ausangate – 7 Lagoons Bike tour

This penultimate day is surrounded by incredible snow-capped peaks such as Ausangate, Apu Puka Punta, Apu Pajchanta, and Callangate, along with their multicolored lagoons.

We start from the village of Pajchanta, with the first section being an uphill trail crossing several lagoons until reaching the highest point (4,500m).

After a gentle climb, we’ll descend along a different path with more multicolored lagoons and a fun, flowing singletrack trail.

Tonight, we can again enjoy the same hot springs to relax our muscles for the next day of MTB enduro.

Both routes can be modified, depending on your technique, so you don’t have to worry, the recommended trails of Cusco, Huayllarcocha, Balcón del Diablo and Occopata.
