We offer two options for this tour:
- Option 1: A full pedal tour with climbs and descents on gravel roads, trails, and Inca paths, lasting 3 to 4 hours, covering a total distance of 24 km.
- Option 2: Start with transportation to the highest point (Salkantay community). This route is entirely downhill on gravel roads, covering a distance of 13 km. This basic-level option lasts only 2 to 3 hours; If you choose the enduro type tour, we include one more trail, known as huayllarcocha
- The basic-intermediate tour starts from the Salkantay community, located in the northern part of Cusco at 4,000 meters. From there, we will descend and pass through the Qollapata community, where the Chakan archaeological site, also known as the Devil’s Balcony, is located. This Inca building next to a naturally colored rock is a place we will explore.
